L's friend R had her 5th birthday today.  Both girls were invited to the party.   Before the party took SB  out to sell her girl scout cookies.  Sold 6 boxes in an hour.   Not too good of a sales day for a Saturday.   Last house we stopped at ended up being a girl scout leader.    We were informed in polite terms that we were trespassing on another's territory.   To my way of thinking if a girl hasn't gone out and sold in her territory halfway through the cookie sale then watch out.   Living on a busy street without sidewalks we sell in other neighborhoods.    However,  we do wait a couple of weeks before venturing into the other neighborhoods to let the scouts in those neighborhoods get out to sell.   Funny how we haven't had this territory problem when we sell cub scout popcorn.   The difference between boys and girls.

Any rate, we get to the party , slightly late because S needed to go to Costco to get gas and walk in to find birthday girl R crying.   The party didn't get better ,  six little girls and of the six only 3 didn't cry.    L and SB were among the 3 that didn't cry.    One child kept threatening to go home.  "If I go home E goes home with me. "   E is Ly little sister.   I was thinking the only reason you were invited to R's party is because you are E's big sister.    Ly  kept having time outs for fighting ,  and the last when for hitting her sister toward the end of the party.  At which point I physically picked her up and carried her to another room and let her cry till her dad came and picked her up.    The mom having the birthday party later told me if she had picked up Ly she would have hurt her.   Definitely, made for an interesting party.   Still both of my girls had fun, but I think they had more fun after the other kids left and it was just them and the birthday girl and her older sister.

Guess I should go to sleep ,  morning is going to come early tomorrow since F has a wrestling tournament at 8:30 in the morning.  Ugh
