Books provide access to an unimaginable adventure. One of my favorite hobbies has always been reading, for as far back as I can remember. As a kid, I spent a lot of time with my grandma, and every week during summer break we would ride our local city bus to our local public library. I would of course make a bee line to the children's section to select my books. I had several titles, that I would get every time that we went. I do truly mean several, by the time I had gathered all of the books that I wanted, I would have at least fifteen or twenty books. That would be thinner and easier to read when I was very young, and though the number did diminish some as I got older, the books simply got thicker. Grandma would always take one look at my stack, shake her head and say, "You are going to hurt your back carrying all of those books."
