As a Christian mom, becoming more and more close to Christ, I can't help but feel a little weird about the way we celebrate this time of year.

The way I grew up was believing in Santa claus. And to be honest it wasn't until I was a little older when I learned the true meaning of Christmas. My kids are young (5,4,3 and 1) but even at these young ages, the 3 older ones know exactly what Christmas is. They are aware that we are celebrating the birth of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. But at the same time they are fully aware of Santa claus and getting gifts Christmas morning.
