Clever Find: B A N D E D Headbands That Absolutely Won’t Slip

By Anne-Marie Kovacs, Chief Wife

Banded Hairband 2I have finally – FI-NAH-LY – found a headband that stays put, exactly where I want it and won’t slip, ride up my head, hurt behing my ears and/or give me a headache. First World problems, I know. But I know that many of you sympathize and know exactly what I’m complaining about.

How much money have you spent on plastic, rigid, molded (no matter how cute or stylish) headbands that end up digging painful craters behind your ears or giving you a massive headaches by the end of the day. And all that with the benefit of  having to readjust the headband AND the hair multiple times throughout the day. Or how about those elastic fabric headbands with so-called “no slip technology”. Right. They ride up my head in about 5 minutes and end up looking completely ridiculous. And I know my head is not THAT big. How does everyone else wear these?  They’re still selling them. They must work for some people. Though not at all for me. I’ve tried them all.

But, solution found with BANDED headbands. Whether for sports or for style, I’m in love with these headbands because they stay in place and don’t hurt. Put one in your hair once and they won’t budge because:

  • The velvet backing of the headbands make them truly no slip, no matter how much you’re shaking and grooving.
  • The patent-pending Opti-Size fit allows the headband to fit comfortably on smaller or bigger heads. So it won’t ride up or feel too tight.

The BANDED headbands come in various prints and textures. There is even one with a reflective surface for runners.

Banded Hairbands & Amazima

And, one of the things we like almost better than their products is that BANDED gives back: EACH purchase of a headband provides three meals for a child in Uganda through the Amazima Minestries. “Banded™, a division of Lightbulb Innovation Group, LLC, is focused on the idea that we can make products that are fun, comfortable and innovative for women and help people in need at the same time.  We are a group of people, working in Nashville, TN, with a passion for our families and work that is meaningful.”

Love it.
