By Audrey van Petegem, Chief Editor

I am sure we all have those large red plastic cups in our cupboard, because you never know when people will just stop by when the weather turns warm.

Red Cup Living

Mike and Katy are just this type of couple. Their door (or shall we say porch) is always open for people to drop by and say hello. Every Friday night became the official date for the neighborhood get-together. They would pull out the red cups and fill everyone’s glass with whatever the neighbors brought. At the end of the evening all these red cups would go into the recycle bin. As time passed the Friday evening get together was coined Red Cup Living.

It was out of these casual get togethers that Red Cup Living became a product. Seeing the waste and expense go into the trash bin made the idea of having reusable red cups envisioned.
