Have you ever been in a restaurant, waiting for a table, and notice the three pre-teens standing next to each other texting…to each other? Have you ever thought that was strange?

I am intrigued by how today’s young people…and I’m including the Twenty Something crowd in this category…communicate. This is a generation that has grown up with computers, the internet, cell phones, smart phones, digitized music, data that can fit on a stick, emailing, tweeting and texting. When I was growing up we had a rotary dial phone. I still have nightmares where I keep dialing the phone and I keep making mistakes, never getting the “hole” around to the metal stop. For those of you too young to know what I’m talking about, I’ve provided a picture.
