The problem is the country is becoming socialist, where the state (in this case represented by the public school system) operates on the given that they know better than the parent does on what is best for the good of society. They therefore take it upon themselves to implement whatever they "feel" is best for everyone.  This is what they are doing with the heavy promotion of the Gardasil vaccine, despite the fact that it really doesn't protect against very much at all as the nearly 100 strains of the HPV virus are ALL potentially cancer causing and Gardasil only protects against 4. Not only that, the duration of the effectiveness of the vaccine is unknown. It is therefore potentially possible for a child to be vaccinated at 9 and the vaccine to be ineffective by age 16.
