*Today's Guest post is brought to you by Mandy at That Pastor's Wife*

Looking for fun ideas for your christmas decorations this
year?

Decorating in themes is soooo much fun!

I wanted to share with you some ideas on how you can
decorate your tree. Its fun, easy and you can use everyday objects to decorate
with.

So how do you come up with a theme?

Let’s take a look at your surroundings.

What color is your room decorated in currently?

What are your hobbies or favorite things?

Once you’ve decided on a theme start collecting items and
have fun with it!

Great examples of themes:

Sports Tree (put a helmet or pendant on top for the tree
topper, hang sports themed items. Drill a hole in hockey pucks and hang with
ribbon. make pendant roping easily as your garland out of felt and string)

Coffee Tree (Hang spoons, tea bags, and other coffee themed
items)

Music  Tree (hang any
kind of instruments, make loop garland from sheet music)

Candy Tree  ( Hang
candy canes, gingerbread men, make fake ice cream cones, lolly pops)

Birds and Owls Tree (hang birds, peacock feathers, make
nests from twigs or raffia, eggs (you could even use Easter decorations for
this, and put branches and twigs in the tree)

The possibilities are endless!

What are some creative themes you’ve done for your tree?

I hope you leave feeling inspired! Happy Decorating!

Thank you for sharing...
