Didn't I Just Graduate High School Yesterday?

Today I turn 30! Its kind of weird not being twenty something. It seems like just yesterday I was sitting outside on the football field at my high school graduation listening to commencement speeches and wondering what the next ten years had to offer. What did college have to offer? Where would I go? What would I be when I grew up? I only hoped that by the age of 30 I would be well established in a career with my own family, but those things were so hard to think of at that time. I was excited to get into a Junior College in Eastern Arizona which I later transferred to a four year college and got my degree in Electronic Media just four years later. Those four years of college and life literally on my own were the most trying and tough four years of my life. Not that I didn't have to grow up early at the age of 16, it was still a big step toward my own independence.
