DIY Construction Paper Pumpkin Table Decorations

Halloween and Thanksgiving are quickly approaching, so I decided to get my youngest son to help me make some cute pumpkin table decorations using construction paper.  I laid newspaper down on the kitchen table so that my youngest son wouldn’t get glue all over the table.  I keep a stash of craft and supplies in my school supply box in my closet so that I have supplies readily available for activities.  I grabbed a few sheets of orange,  a sheet of green construction paper, glue, glue stick, and a pair of scissors.  I cut the orange construction paper into strips (roughly an inch wide) because my child is still too young to use the scissors.
