Do You Want to Make a Living with Your Blogging, Writing, Craft, or Music? You Can!

I am an avid Twitter user -- left to my own devices, I would tweet all day. I like to connect with many other people, mostly moms, who are interested in the same topics: natural birth, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, green and frugal living, homeopathy, and using social media. I also love to provide my followers (2550+) with valuable retweets they might benefit from.

I think social media is amazing in that it allows anyone with a message to get it out to many people — without it costing much. If you like my blog, consider connecting with me via Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. I always like to hear and learn from like-minded people :)

Are you an entrepreneur, artist, musician, writer, or blogger who wants to make a decent living? You can! I already blogged about how I heard David Mathison speak about using social media to market what you are passionate about and to use social media to your advantage. Be The Media is one of those book you want all of your family and friends to know about – I can’t stop talking about the impact is has had on how I think about my ability to make a living with what I love — writing and editing. I know so many talented people who are struggling to make ends meet, I want them to all profit from reading this eye-opening book.

David has compiled excellent advice on how to keep the rights to your work — instead of having to relinquish them to publishers and labels, studios, distributors, and lawyers — and how to market yourself with the help of no-cost or low-cost social media. He backs up all of his extensive information with contributions and testimonials from leading media authorities and celebrities. Start leveraging today’s new methods of distribution to connect with your audience directly and keep more of your royalties and rights! (read more)
