So I have just discovered that the large bushes growing in the back
corner of our garden are actually tomato plants (I know, I'm not much of
a gardener). Not knowing much about all that, I was a bit sceptical
about actually eating them.
However, I have been converted. Tonight for dinner I:
cut them in fours,
added some thinly sliced red onion and olive oil,
and squeezed lemon juice and chopped fresh coriander over top.
Finished off with some fresh cracked salt and pepper, and it was the most amazing fresh and tasty salad, perfect for summer!
