How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

Editing, Only Child Syndrome And The Need For Immediate Gratification

Two major factors that make an article great are content and editing.  I, unfortunately, lack the desire to edit all of my work.  Once again, I blame this on being an only child.

When I am in a writing mood and I start typing away, I just keep typing until I feel the need to stop or simply have nothing more to add.  Sometimes, I find myself thinking and writing so intently that my mind gets in the way of what I initially set out to write about.  The topic of my writing generally begins with the content I set out to write about.  Unfortunately, many of the things I thought to incorporate before my fingers hit the keyboard, fly out the window when I start.  In some ways, I suppose that’s not great but from the opposite standpoint, at least I have subject matter left over for following posts :)

When I am finished writing, my only child syndrome kicks in.  I now have two options… edit or get so excited to hit the publish button that I don’t want to waste any time to edit.  Even though my brain is telling me “NO… DON’T PRESS THAT BUTTON…”  I do.  And there you have it.  The need for immediate gratification, getting my words out there and neglecting to do one very important thing all writers should do… EDIT.  Please take note… if you find typos in this article, grammatical errors or anything of the like, it is because I am an only child, in need of immediate gratification and I care more about the publish button than editing.TrendingMom.Com
