The other night, all three babes in bed and fast asleep, my husband and I poured a little bowl of water, laid out a futon on the living room floor, and lit each others ears aflame! Ha, hot stuff!

I've read many tidbits about the benefits (and criticism) of ear candling these past few years and at long last wanted to give them a proper try. And it certainly couldn't hurt my husband, who quotes an article from a decade ago about "men not hearing women's voices due to pitch differences" every time he misses a conversation we just had. And dude, the man has a serious amount of ear wax.

So, I'll report back on our findings later. But, for your entertainment...
