New blog post: Fashion Friday - Neon Rock. Check out other posts at www.princessandtherock.com

I love the idea of adding some girly-ness to the rock chic look. There's nothing that says rock chic more than the colour black and studs, but I'm not so into this kind of studded look:

Subtlety is what I prefer so I lean more towards styles like this:
My version below shows a more casual look. You know, a mother of two young kids needs to be able to "take off" any time, in case they dart off in crowded places! I added a little touch of neon pink to break the monotony of an almost all-black ensemble. Also worthy to note is that most of the items I wore were bought at huge discounts, I am a pretty good bargain hunter if you ask me (or my husband!)
Cotton On top | Uniqlo skinny jeans
H&M Neon pink skinny belt. Similar one can be found here
Zara black booties
Lovisa neon pink cuff | Leather bracelet from Forever 21

Philip Stein watch
Black crystals bow earrings bought from Paris
Bucket bag from Loewe (design discontinued)
