Finding Well Made Toys? Can it happen these days?

So, the Holidays are over and I am happy about it point blank!

Toys are put away and we have weeded out the things that look cool and I want it for Christmas but I am not going to play with it much toys. (I try to minimize those purchases but the advertising for them is AWESOME.)

I have to say that 1/4 of the toys that were bought for Christmas have already broke, some right out of the box - now I know that I have 2 boys and that may have something to do with it, but lets face it, toys are NOT made as well as they used to be.

I was trying the Sit n Spin that "Santa" had gotten for my 2 & 5 years old (I am a small human being so I can fit on it - Barely) and I was trying to spin it and man it is really tough - so difficult that they don't really use it - luckily it was pretty cheap.....which is a problem in itself.....next paragraph......I can remember the Sit n Spin that I had growing up with ball bearings and man that thing would fly!  I suppose ball bearings are now considered chocking hazards so they are no longer used.

We all like cheap or excuse me, inexpensive...myself included.  But these days, I am more than willing to pay a little more and have the stuff  last awhile.  I would rather get my kids less and have the toys work and last than cheap, not work and break.

I also really like toys that encourage their imaginations, and I truly find that my kids like them the most too...and they are used continually on and off for quite awhile.

Well, Thanks for listening to my rant, Have a Fantastic Day, and remember, push yourself to greatness and it will happen!
