My husband LOVES fried foods. And since I am trying to cook a little healthier he's been having some fried food withdraws. So I thought I would be a sweet wife and cook him some fried chicken. I wanted to spice it up though, try something new. That's how I came up with Fried Bacon Wrapped Chicken and let me tell you, it is so good! This will be something you will cook over and over again not only because its Delicious but because it's super easy.

Ingredients:

4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast

1/2 cup Shredded Cheese (I used Mexican Blend)

2 tbsp Tony Chachere's (We really like spicy so you may only want to use 1 tbsp)

4 Cups All Purpose Flour

8 Slices of Bacon

2 eggs

1/2 Cup of Milk

Cooking Oil

Directions:

Heat about 1 inch of cooking oil in a skillet on low to medium heat. (You do not want your grease to get too hot because it will cook the outside of the chicken and not the middle)  Then use a small bowl to combine your eggs and milk then whisk together. Next use a medium sized bowl to combine your flour, cheese and tony chachere's and mix well. Cook your bacon in a skillet but do not make it crispy. (you want it soft so you can wrap it around the chicken.) Set aside to cool. Take your chicken and wrap your bacon around it. You will use 2 stripes of bacon per chicken breast.

The next part might be a little tricky for you. You are going to hold your bacon stripes around the chicken breast while you dip it into the egg and milk wash and then into the flour mixture. You will do this twice. Then place in grease and fry for approximately 7-10 mins  per side. My chicken breast were pretty large so yours could take a little less or a little more time. You want the batter to have a golden brown color to it.

Once your chicken is done place on a paper towel to drain off any grease. I served ours with mashed potatoes (instant not real lol) and mac and cheese. Hope you and your family enjoy!
