How is your New Year Eve going everyone?  The kids and I have really enjoyed the snow that has fallen today and so glad that it was a decent amount at that.  We really need the moisture here in Kansas!  TJ built his first snowman and it was the first time for Talia to really get to have fun playing in the snow (she tried this weekend but was not enough today was a blast though).  I am planning on going out and getting some snow gathered here in a bit so we can do some "Snow Science"  I know that they will get a kick out of it.  Have you ever tried any Snow Science experiments out with your children?  What type and how did they enjoy them, my son absolutely loves anything science so I am excited to try a few out with him this evening as part of our New Year Eve celebration.  I am planning an evening full of board games, snow science, fun treats and crafts with the kids, what do you have planned?  Well I am off to finish planning our evening and hoping we have no more power outages today.  Have a happy and safe New Year Eve everyone!  In the meantime here are some photos of our Snow Day!
