After over a week and a half of fun migraines and then the stomach flu I have now fully recovered *10 lbs lighter* and attempting to get back into the swing of things. To start off my celebration of being germ free Logan and I met our fabulous homeschooling peeps at this amazingly beautiful splash park that was right next to Lake Monroe. It was a perfect Florida day, low humidity, the sun was hot but felt great on my skin, I was looking a little pasty after my brief illness stint. Poor Logan has been couped up in the house with me and he was grinning from ear to ear when we arrived at the park in all it's "kiddom" glory!
I was having mommy time, Logan was having kid time, and then it all hits me like a ton of bricks. I sat there looking at each one of my dear friends conversing and laughing, would this be the last time I would see them all together? Will we move during the summer while my friend *Thing B* is up in New York visiting family and I won't really be able to say good bye to her? These people are my comfort, they are my sanity...they are my family.
When I know that we will be relocating soon I have these moments of emotional panic and quickly they subside because this is who we are. We love the adventure and even though the unknown in some what unsettling it's exciting as well. God knows what is right for us and if it is meant for us to head to Illinois then we will but if he has a different place for us then that is his plan. We have been so blessed to have met and befriended such wonderful people over the years.
Sorry, I digress....I live for the here and now, I told Phil just let me know where we are going and when the movers will be here because I'm just enjoying today:-) No stress! Just relax and soak up some good 'ole natural Vitamin D;-)
