Fundraisers are calling for short story and poetry submissions for a national anthology to benefit children’s charities. From the submissions, 101 pieces will be chosen to appear in the anthology which is scheduled for released in May of this year.
"The most important thing to a parent is their child," says Beth Davis, an editor on the project. "If we can do something we love, in this case writing, and have it benefit children all over the country then we really are accomplishing something wonderful."
Writers are invited to submit their work at Write for Charity's website along with a short bio that will be printed in the event that their work is chosen for this anthology.
Write for Charity is an organization dedicated to using the written word to improve the world.
