Today I realized I’ve been either nursing or pregnant for the last 38 months. Yes, 38 months of either my daughters growing inside me or happily sucking on my breasts while they nurse. That’s pretty much summed up my life. The umbilical cord may have been cut (after it stopped pulsing of course), but my babies are still in need of what I can give them nutritionally through nursing. This made me think about all the places I nursed over the years.
