I just received an email asking me whether I felt my readers where eco-friendly inclined. I dare to say that our generation, and the new generations, are starting to become more eco-friendly. Maybe some more than others, but it is a start, right?

At home we do what we can, like:
  • We do not have a car...but this one was more of an accident that totaled our beloved Audi! We lost our car back in March and now we carpool with my mother in law whenever we need to go somewhere. We are still looking into getting a car, but it has been 6 months with one less car on the streets!! It's something, right?
  • We recycle plastic, cardboard, paper, cans and glass. I would love to have a compost, but for that I need a bigger yard! But it is certainly on my to do list.
  • We give away whatever we do not need. My boys have both used hand me downs and whatever they don't use anymore we donate to the Goodwill.
  • We, or at least I, reuse paper. I love it when we get a package and in comes with rolls of paper!! 2 Christmases ago I used that paper for wrapping the gifts. Now we use it for crafts and beautiful drawings!
So, tell me, what do you do to help our mother Earth?
