Driving down the highway, through my front windshield, was an ominious blanket of dark clouds & raining skies. I had my wipers on as I gingerly navigated through it. Out of nowhere--as if God had flipped a switch--this abrupt & sharp contrast of weather came thrusting through my back windshield. The radiance, the bursting sun & the piercing light was so unbelievable (compared to the dark storm in the front windshield) that with no regard for logic, I turned my head around, to see what my
heart jumped for. "What if?" "Heaven? Jesus? Is that you?" Since that super-nova moment, time has allowed me to "realistically" look back & laugh at my foolishness. But I'd be remiss if I didn't ask: as adults, do we sometimes mock our silly, childlike responses toward Heaven & Jesus? Yet what's funny is that if we were children, it wouldn't be foolish at all! Either way, I can't deny that that day, I discovered something childlike in me, that is giddy for Heaven. And I hope you are too. :)
