Trail mix is one of those snacks that you can eat almost anywhere whether at a party, on the go, or while you're sitting at your desk at work. It's not only tasty but healthy, too! Here is a simple but wonderful homemade trail mix recipe.

Homemade Trail Mix

  1. what you need:
  2. dried mixed berries, 5oz bag
  3. vanilla yogurt covered raisins, 5oz bag
  4. dried tropical fruit medley, 5oz bag
  5. mixed nuts, 8oz container
  6. 1/4 c. dark chocolate chips (add more if you like ;)
  7. storage container with a top
  • what to do:
  • Pour all the ingredients together in your storage container of choice
  • Placed the lid on and secure
  • Shake to evenly mixed the ingredients throughout
  1. lil' extras:
  2. Add and subtract the ingredients according to the taste buds of your family
  3. Try adding sunflower seeds
  4. In the event of a peanut allergy, simply replace nuts with other dried fruit!
