Keep on hand items that help combat allergies like apple cider vinegar, locally sourced honey, and nettle tea. Make sure the honey comes from local bees so it has the pollen from your area to help build immunity. All three help your child's body minimize allergy symptoms and prevent future attacks. A healthy diet helps too, including fatty fish and tree nuts, but always check about nut allergies before giving any kind of nut to children. Other foods to keep well supplied during allergy season include apples, all kinds of berries, cabbage, cauliflower, onions, oranges, and red peppers. During allergy season limit dairy and sugar as these increase the symptoms.

Help your kids be the warrior against allergies and set healthy habits that last a lifetime. Teach your children about preventing and fighting allergies and make their lives so much better.
