I'm an avid gardener! How did that happen?

While sitting on my patio today and watching the rain I started to ask myself, why the heck am I outside? This downpour and the heat together makes perfect weather for ruining a girl's hair and I'm tired of using the flat iron when I'm kinda sorta trying to go natural...so why in the world am I watching the raindrops?

Well, I'm watching my plants of course and praying the heavy rain and wind doesn't kill them. Too much water is no good for them. It was scary. I sat there watching a tree bend to the point I thought it was going to snap and a few wet leaves broke off and the wind caused them to fly and stick onto the mesh. At that point, I took my behind back inside. I don't know what it is about the weather, but it's getting really dangerous!

After I went inside, I found myself at the window like a sad puppy watching the water fall. About an hour and a half went by and the rain finally turned to drizzle. Somehow I ended up back on the patio so I could get a closer look at my pineapple and flowers. Once again, some of the flowers broke off the stems, but they were still alive, thank God! I don't know how this happened. I've turned into a gardener! (continue)
