eing hungry. I've also tried a couple of quick-loss programs. Although these worked to take off weight quickly, I found them to be very restrictive, too restrictive for me. So, back on the weight came.

Just today I went back to a plan I've had success with in the past: Weight Watchers. After having my daughter, I went to Weight Watchers to lose that stubborn baby weight. Like I said, I had success. What I didn't have success with was maintaining the loss and the pounds have crept back up on me over the last few years. I can't blame WW for my not maintaining. I should have kept going to the meetings for the group support. I should have kept up the weekly weigh-ins because accountability is a key for me. I should have gone back to the program when my clothes became more snug. Ihave no one to blame but myself.

So, yesterday I signed up for the Monthly Pass on the Weight Watchers website (the most economic way to go) and went to my first meeting today. I also got the FREE Weight Watchers Mobile App. for my iPhone, making it very easy to track my points, activity and to search for info on foods. If you sign up on line, you can have access to a bunch of on-line tools (eTools) to support your weight-loss endeavor. For those of you who have tried this program in the past...it has changed. The new PointsPlus program is different than the previous point-based program. It is apparently based on the most current research on foods and how our bodies process what we eat. It is also the exact program Jennifer Hudson used to lose her weight. And have you seen her lately?? Just go to the website or call a center to get more details.

So, today I start. My first goal is to lose 5% of my current weight. I'll keep you posted!
