This morning, after the dulcit tones of

"Mummmmmmyyyyy I wake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Swiftly followed by footsteps more befitting of a baby elephant than a 2 year old, my toddler arrived at my bedside.

We did our normal ritual. Wee wee, Peppa slippers, screams because I try and get away without carrying her down the stairs (oh my poor back).

Finally we arrive in the kitchen for milk. Things went wrong when she fell head first off the work surface and planted her face well and truly in the not-quite-sure-when-it-was-last-washed laminate flooring we went and turned the telly on. (she was okay by the way, but a bit shaken).
