I'm doing a few 'keep in touch days' at work this week to try and get me ready for when I go back for good in September. For those who don't know what these are, they are 10days which you can go back to work for (fully paid) and still stay on your maternity leave. I found them very useful last year as i managed to get all my hours and days sorted out before I was due back, so i just came in on my first day back and knew exactly what I was doing.


Anyhoo, I worked Wednesday night and by the end of my shift my feet were dead, my legs were achy, and my bum hurt?? (It must have been all the bending!) and it hit me that I would be working 24hours of this every week when I'm back (3nights) 11pm till 7am. I think i will be so tired but I'm sure I'll get used to it (eventually!)
