Today was the day for my girls to return to school. I now have a 7th grader and a 4th grader.

Yes I'm happy to be back into the routine of a some-what quieter day (and I'm happy that I get the computer to myself!), but I'm also sad that they aren't here. That they are growing up... growing up so fast! 7th grade?! How in the heck did my oldest reach 7th grade already?!?

*heavy sigh*

I still feel like hanging outside their classrooms, waiting to see if they need me. There was a time when I was needed like that. Not anymore. *sniff*

Ah... the first day of school.
