Another bloggy friend of mine has encouraged me to be honest with my feelings. She recently wrote a letter to her church and it was received warmly. Which reminded me that I have written 2 letters to my church asking for help to get the word out for Rescue here, and I haven't received even an acknowledgment email from them. I haven't even gotten a "Heather, I think that's a great idea, lets sit down and talk about it." I was first attracted to this church because of its laid back atmosphere and the fact that the Pastor really did seem to connect with his audience and just knew how to make you laugh while relating scripture to the every day life.
