I used to love this song when I was a child:
Sesame Street was the "bee's knees" and this song rocked my world. Who were the people in my neighborhood? I wasn't sure but I knew I wanted to find out, at least that's what the song compelled me to do. Being a kid growing up watching Sesame Street along with the Electric Company, I listened intently to whatever the characters on these programs compelled me to do or think about. What they discussed was immediately interesting and intriguing, it was as simple as that.
