There is a coin at the bottom of my toilet. It jingles every time I flush as a happy reminder that it’s still there. I need to get it out but somehow sticking my hand in a toilet keeps ending
up on the bottom of my “to do” list.

However Adam will be home soon and I know he will say “Why is there a coin in the bottom of our toilet?” Maybe I should tell him I decided to make it our new wishing well and have
ordered Coy to stock the toilet with as well. Or maybe I should tell him
that I decided to count spare change while taking an extra long
bathroom break. Or I guess I could just remind him we have three
kids…doesn’t that explain just about every thing?

Why Ashlyn holds objects while going to the bathroom I’ll never know, she obviously lacks some foresight (I think three year olds may be known for this).
I remember as a kid playing dress up with all my mom’s rings and then accidentally dropping them in the toilet. I also remember the panicked
look on her face when I showed my mother her new jewelry box.
I guess this is pay-back…I should really go get that coin out…but I think I’ll wait for Adam so he can share in this joy of parenthood or at
least hearing that jingle, jingle, jingle.
