Tips for keeping your kids safe this summer!

Get Ready, Get Set, GO! Summer is here and the kids are ready for some outdoor fun! The goal is summer safety; to avoid painful sunburns, broken bones, stitches or any other injury that might interfere with summer time fun.

  • Sun safety - Sunscreen is a must for a this summer! Sunscreen is not just for the pool. Sunscreen application should be part of your everyday routine, even if the kids never swim. Many of us do not think of sunburn when the kids are just playing out in the yard everyday. Even if your child doesnít get sunburnt the affects of too much sun exposure will stay with your child forever. Take care of their skin now and they will pick up this good habit. Look for a sunscreen that has both UVA and UVB protection, SPF of at least 30, is sweat/water resistant and is hypoallergenic.
