Kick your shoes off and stay a while!

Make yourself comfortable, because I'm all about that. You'll find me in jeans and sweater more often than a skirt or something dressy, especially now that I'm a full time mom.
Let me tell you a little more about me... I am the mother to a little boy born on the day of the crazy eights. I started blogging about two weeks after he was born. My first blog ever was The Krause Family. It was a way for family near and far to keep up with our little man and watch him grow.
In October 2008 I started Mama Michie's Musings. This blog became my place to write about anything and everything that was on my mind, things I didn't feel belonged on the other blog.
Since then I have been tweaking a little here and there, learning (or at least trying) to speak HTML and polishing my PhotoImpact skills in order to bring my blog to where I would like it to be. It is still a work in process because everyday I learn something new, but I think it's slowly getting there.
Blogging has opened up a whole new world for me, one that I never knew existed until August 2008. I've met some great people through blogging and look forward to getting to know even more. Feel free to join me as I discover more about myself and find the real "me" that's hiding underneath it all.
