The other day I tried doing a little bit of "schooling" with the Rock after a short session of Leap Frog video. I decided to lay out the Alphabet mat and familiarise him with the phonetic sounds. He enjoyed laying the mat out and jumping on it, so I thought to myself "good start." It became better after that because he made me laugh so much!

Creativity is really in every child, I tell you. The Rock decided to pick out the letter "M", so I went along with him and made the sound "mm", he followed after me and suddenly he shouted "Monsters Inc! Monsters Inc!" Wow! I thought this child is not bad at all.

The next one really had me rolling on the floor. When we were doing "P" I wanted to introduce him to "penguin" but before I could do that, he gave a sheepish smile and went "pppooot ppoot!"

I wonder who is the one learning new things here? Honestly I am quite proud that he is able to make his own associations although in an unorthodox way. :P
