This week, on Thursday to be exact, Kayla will be getting tubes in her ears. During our appointment with the ENT specialist last week they hooked her ears up to a machine that tests pressure and fluid levels.

She failed miserably.

Both ears are still filled with fluid, her left ear being the worse than the right. I feel so AWFUL for her. Her poor little ears have not been fluid free since OCTOBER! That's 5 solid months of fluid and on and off again infections. I can't even imagine how dull her hearing must be right now. We are very lucky she is so advanced with her language and that the problem has not set her back developmentally.

The good news is they set her up for the surgery right away.
