It was a lovely afternoon and the sun was shining high in the sky. Toddler girl kept asking to go out in the garden, but I kept trying to put her off, as I had rooms to tidy and clothes to wash.

I was putting the washing in the washing machine when I saw her toddle off. I thought she had given up on the 'going outside' idea. However she came back with her shoes, sat down by the door and shouted "out, Bobby" Toddler girl cant say 'Mummy', and has always called me 'Bobby', and to be truthful I think it will break my heart when she does eventually say it .

Smiling I gave up on the housework, and did as I was told. I took toddler girl 'out' into the garden.

Whilst we were playing I noticed that the blackberry bush was looking very full of ripe blackberries.

Toddler girl and I decided to pick the blackberries. We had to be especially careful as a couple of wasps kept trying to warn us off. Toddler girl would shout 'bee' anytime one came near her, and run off squealing holding on tight to her tub of blackberries.
