It was a lovely afternoon and the sun was shining high in the sky. Toddler girl kept asking to go out in the garden, but I kept trying to put her off, as I had rooms to tidy and clothes to wash.

I was putting the washing in the washing machine when I saw her toddle off. I thought she had given up on the 'going outside' idea. Toddler girl and I decided to pick the blackberries. We had to be especially careful as a couple of wasps kept trying to warn us off. Toddler girl would shout 'bee' anytime one came near her, and run off squealing holding on tight to her tub of blackberries.
