The very first time I went to Singapore with my girl was in March 2011. We took a VIP coach bus at 10pm and reached Golden Mile, Singapore at 5.30am. Never had we experienced such a tiring and exhausting night before, catching only a few winks on and off only.

 The bus stopped three times for the passengers to answer some "nature calls" and we finally reached the immigration around 4.30am. Imagine how sleepy our looks were when we were at the checkpoint! :) Thank goodness the hotel receptionist allowed us to check-in to our room at such an early hour.
