Dreamy eyes Michael Ealy graced the cover of Upscale magazine's July 2012 issue. OKAY ladies, you can stop staring at the magazine cover and drooling to scroll down and read what the man had to say... J/K!!!
Anywho! Unlike most men, Michael Ealy has finally admitted that he was addicted to the crazy in his past relationships and that he had a save-a chick complex which was the cause of his many failed relationships.
Now that he's all grown up, he wants a real woman to make his life complete, but don't count on that being an industry chick because he's over them too. Soooo, I guess that scratches the whole rumor about him and Taraji being an item. Ladies, if you're lucky enough to meet Michael Ealy and steal his heart, at least you don't have to worry about being a superstar to get his attention.
Check out some excerpts below:
“I’ve been done with [dating industry women]. You do it for years and years and years—theater, television, film. It’s a workplace thing… But the difference for me now is that I’m mature enough to know that this is a work thing. The minute we stop production, I’m not going to feel this way anymore.”
“I think there was a part of me that was just attracted to the crazy. I tended to involve myself with women that brought drama. And I had a bit of a savior complex. I thought I could save them from whatever daddy issues or cheating issues [they had].”
“In the past, I was definitely known as a guy who took himself and his relationships a little too seriously. I won’t say that I always knew how to have a lot fun.”
Welp! There you have it. I don't know about y'all but he just gave me some hope. There are still some really good men out there you just have to allow them to grow the hell up and realize that all that drama, immaturity and chasing tail does get old one day. Eventually, they're going to want to settle down with a REAL woman that will be a lady in the street and a freak in the sheets only with him. Hold him down, cook his meals, keep the house clean and bare his children.
Amazing how long it takes men to get it together, but it seems like Michael has finally got it. I wonder did his role in 'Think Like A Man' have anything to do with it... Hmmmmm!
