What Thermostat Temperature Setting Should I Use in the Summer?

Museum Adventure Pass

In addition to tons of books, games, puzzles, and family programs; the library is also the place to get your Museum Adventure Pass!

The Museum Adventure Pass is made possible through the wonderful partnership between local libraries and various zoos and museums. This partnership gives families an opportunity to visit each location at a discounted admission rate or for FREE!

So how does it work? You can either start by going to their website http://www.museumadventure.org or visiting your local library. A library card is needed in order to check out one of the passes so if you don't have one, now would be the time to sign up. It's a fairly simple process and usually just requires a photo ID and proof of residency to fill out an application. After processing, you should receive your brand new library card the same day! Children are also able to receive their very own library cards!

Now, with your card in hand, ask your librarian about the Adventure Museum Passes they currently have available. The passes are on a first-come, first-served basis and there are a only a limited amount for each participating organization per week. If you are interested in a particular place but all the passes have been given out, just plan to try again the following week (the librarian may even give you a specific day that that pass will become available again. So, don't hesitate to ask!)

Got the pass you wanted? Great! It is good for seven days, which really comes in handy in the event that something comes up and you have to change your outing date. Be sure to read the fine print because each destination rules and discounts vary. All of this will be located on the same printout as your museum pass. If you have any questions or concerns, call the zoo or museum for further clarification.

My family and I have taken advantage of these Adventure Museum Passes on numerous occasions and have always found the process to really easy. It's great when you're able to take the family out on museum free days, but this is also another wonderful option for discounted family fun!

So, what are you waiting for?! ;)

Like what you've read? There's more! ;)
