I took a small break for my birthday and then I got super busy. My husband surprised me with a 4 legged little girl so I've been busy getting her house trained, entertained and teaching her the general rules of the house as they apply to new 4 legged additions. My 10 year old has gotten super sick and I'm back to being super sleep deprived but I've had lots of time to think. Being a stay at home mom isn't for everyone. My home in it's current state won't be featured in a housing magazine, there is always at least one more load of laundry that needs to be washed. Try as I might I can't keep the bathrooms totally clean, the kitchen table totally clutter free or the dishes completely caught up. Yes, I miss having a steady paycheck from some place other than Unemployment but it's worth it being home with my children right now. I get paid in "I love yous" and get lots of hugs and kisses.  When I worked I got to come home to hugs and  and stories about their day but for how my life is going currently I'm glad to be home. To be at work I'd just be another person on the payroll to be home I'm Mom - finder of all things lost, wiper of tears, cooker of food, homework taskmaster and lets not forget the most important hat - Taxi driver. It's a pretty good gig for a girl who always wanted to be a mom at home.
