National Infertility Awareness Week - Support Women who need us!/.

This week Mommies it's National Infertility Awareness Week.  There are many women that each of know that are hurting, this week reach out to them  Being a Mother is a gift and all of us on Mom Bloggers know how special and miraculous it truly is.  It is our duty as Women and as Mothers to be sensitive and compassionate to the plight of women who are experiencing any type of infertility.

Every year in the United States, there are 60,000,000 women in the childbearing years of 15-44 :

  • 6,000,000 women deal with infertility
  • 2,000,000 married couples are infertile
  • 1,995,840 pregnancy losses
Yearly, yearly, yearly, over 2,000,000 women do not have the opportunity to become Mothers.

I myself had my own infertility issues, that lead to a pregnancy loss.  It was heartbreaking and devastating.  There is nothing in the World like girlfriends.  They held my hand, shared their stories and allowed me to cry, yell and feel every emotion that I had.  Then came my second pregnancy which lead me to 26 weeks of bed rest, and the idea to start my business.  I'm proud to say that I am a Mother to a beautiful 1 year old little girl, who truly is my gift.  My story ended well, but there are women experiencing loss and disappointment daily.  It is very easy to get caught up in our own lives, but this close to Mother's Day, I challenge you to be a girlfriend to a Woman who needs it.

Motherhood is a Sisterhood, we can change the World and we do everyday.  Make a difference in the life of a friend, a sister, a co-worker, a neighbor, support National Infertility Awareness Week on your blogs, on your websites and your social media outlets.  We never know we are inspiring.
