Natural Hair - Twists 'n Locs Review and Giveaway

Recently I was contacted by a representative from the Twist ‘n Locs company to review a few of their hair care products. I was allowed to choose two products that I was interested in trying from their product line in order to test and review.

Although, I do not have locs, I was still interested in trying the Organic Leave-in Conditioner, and the Itch-Free Herbal Conditioning Spray. The below review is my honest opinion about the Twist and Locs hair care products that I received for free.

A little about the company:

Twists ‘n Locs was started in 1989 by David Blank, specializing in personal care products. Currently the company manufactures products for many well known brands and companies. In addition, their Jupiter Florida facility is FDA registered and adheres to all FDA & cGMP Guidelines for finished OTC products.

Twists ‘n Locs products are made in the U.S.A. with quality ingredients and skilled professionals.

Well, on to the review

Product name: Organic Leave-in Conditioner

Product Description: Adds luster and moisture to dry or over processed hair. All natural formula for extra protection and shine.

Ingredients: Water (aqua), Stearalkonium Chloride, Mineral Oil, Polyquaternium-37, PPG-1, Trideceth-6, Cetromonium Chloride, Dexepenthenol, Allantoin Keratin Protein, Sage Extract, Olive Oil, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Vitamin E, Rosemary Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Shea Butter, DM-DM Hydantoin, methyl Paraben, Tocopherol Acetate, Nano Multivitamins A, D, E & F. Fragrance

Fragrance: light, clean

Overall Thoughts: I used the leave-in conditioner several times after my wash and go. The formula is light and has a milky consistency, spreads very well through the hair. After applying the conditioner it instantly gives a sheen to the hair, and makes it feel soft. In my opinion, this product is excellent for detangling the hair.

The conditioner worked well with my other hair products. It did not cause any flakes. In addition, the leave-in conditioner added some definition and softness. After letting my hair air dry I did not experience any frizz.

Overall Thoughts: After receiving the conditioning spray, I sprayed some in my hair to revitalize my curls after a long day. My first thought was; Wow, this smells amazing.
