PMS. We are all familiar with it. My boyfriend being the only man in the house of 4 jokingly refers to this as "Pack My Suitcase" time. However, those of us that have experienced it know that it is no joke. 

 

Not all women will experience PMS, but many (about 75%) will experience some of the symptoms associated with it at some point in their lives. Many medical professionals agree that being sedentary & reducing physical activity will increases the frequency & severity of PMS.

 

One of the best natural tools for relieveing these symptoms is yoga. You don't have to be experienced at yoga in order for it to give you some relief. Everyone will experience some benefit and relief regardless of experience.

 

Although yoga can be an effective complimentary tool, if you are under a doctor's care please continue any medications util you are instructed otherwise. If unbearable pain persists, it can be a symptom of another condition. Please consult your medical practitioner regularly!
