Symptoms to Take Notice of in Children

The NHS has been facing ever-increasing pressures in recent years, with slashed budgets, staff shortages and lack of resources taking its toll on the quality of care. One of the many ways we commonly see the impact of these pressures is in waiting times for GP…

Mother of the Bride Guide

The day you’ve dreamed of for years has finally arrived! Your little girl is all grown up and has chosen a partner to start her life with, and you are officially a MoB -- Mother of the Bride! While congratulatory remarks are appropriate at this juncture, so are a few…

How to Through A Larger Than Life Small Wedding on a Budget

This one is as simple as crowdfunding your honeymoon. It might sound strange at first, but do you really need another blender or set of dinner plates? Instead of having your guests purchase a bunch of things you’ll end up trying to return anyway, why not let them chip in for…

This week we were excited to have a new card game to play, and I get to share it with you today!

The card game that we received is called Noun Bite. It is a competitive spelling game, for 2-6 players, ages 6+.

We love to play games, and I love it when I find some that teach at the same time! The home school mom comes out in me a bit!

The game comes with 104 cards, including every letter from the alphabet, wild cards, extra draw cards, and a few other surprises that I won't give away here.

There are a couple "piles" that I will refer to in this review ~ the "shared" pile and the "stock" pile.

The "shared" pile is where you discard should you not be able to spell a word during your turn.

The "stock" pile is where you draw cards from if you can not spell a word.

Each player is dealt 5 cards to start off.

Following, you take turns spelling words with the cards in your hands.

If you do not have a word, you then draw and discard into the "shared" pile.

There are wild cards such as, "?" (represents any letter you need), "Skull" (secret you must play to find out, hee hee), and a few more goodies to change things up!

My kiddos and I had a wonderful time playing Noun Bite. I loved watching them work on spelling words. Only using the letters they had in their hands and those in front of them on the floor!

We didn't play to "win", but there are rules here, that state how you win.

It was a pleasure working with Noun Bite on this review. I had a few questions to help clarify the rules. They responded in a very timely manner with an answer, and welcomed the questions, so as to better future directions!

Thank you so much Noun Bite for providing us the game to play!

Looking forward to many more fun spelling nights with Noun Bite!

You can find Noun Bite on Twitter here and on Facebook here.

Noun Bite is also available on Amazon

Disclaimer: Noun Bite provided me with a free sample of this game to review, and I was under no obligation to review it if I so chose.  Nor was I under any obligation to write a positive review or sponsor a product giveaway in return for the free product.
