I just started blogging about turning something old into something new. I have many clothes that are boxed up from my pre-baby times, that I have come to realize I will never wear again. Instead of throwing them out, I have decided to recycle them into something new that I can add to my wardrobe. This was my first attempt... I took this old summer dress, which is too short for me now, and turned it into a top. I am not an expert at sewing, but I can work a sewing machine. :)

So far I have only recycled two items, both of which didn't take that long. I have been able to sew them both while the baby was napping. Once I come across an item that takes a bit longer to recycle/sew, I will have to get a little creative with making some time. :)
