On Being A Wife, Mom, Writer and Blogger

I have been a part of the Mom Bloggers Club for quite a while now, but have never actually posted anything here up to now. Most of the time I just blog over at my two main blogs (tried setting up different blogs for my advocacies and interests, but couldn't update them all, so just stuck to two. LOL!): Truly Rich Mom and Teachermama Tina. At Truly Rich Mom, I blog about my reflections and tips for enriching faith, family life and finances. :-) At Teachermama Tina, I try to chronicle our homeschooling preschool adventures. :-) It's been fun but I do have so much more I wish I could do with my blogs and my writing! :-)

Aside from blogging, I write now for 2 parenting websites, a freelance writer's company and of course my main job as writer/editor of our Catholic community's Multimedia Center. I have discovered that that is my core gift, my passion, my way of "reaching out and spreading the Word to the world" - writing. It's funny though because the course I took up in college is so unrelated to language arts - I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (physiotherapy in other countries) ten years ago. I never really got to practice much though. I ended up giving the best years of my life to doing mission work for our community. It has been AWESOME, and the Lord has brought me to so many places and blessed me abundantly! :-)

Right now, I am so privileged to be where I am now. After being out on mission for five years, I am now settled back home in the Philippines, along with my husband and two small kids. I am enjoying God's greatness as a wife to a loving, supportive, God-fearing man, mom to two adorable angels who always remind me of God's amazing grace, and get to do what I love - write (and blog!) for a living! :-) How wonderful is that?! :-)

How about you dear friends? :-) Have you defined who you are and what you want to do/be? :-) Take time today to be grateful for who you are :-) God made you SPECIAL and UNIQUE and  wants to bless the world through you!
