When we first contemplated having our first baby, Joseph and I decided it would be best to try to keep me at home full time when the time came. Upon hearing I was pregnant, we looked at our finances, and at the time that goal was impossible. However, throughout the progression of my pregnancy we were preparing for (at least) a two-month lapse in employment after the baby was born. We sacrificed and cut back on whatever we could to try and make it somewhat feasible. However, the closer we came to Josiah's arrival, we continued to realize how expensive a baby was actually going to be, and how many more expenses were going to be added to our already long list...

So cute! And yes, babies are pricey little angels. I have 4 of them, yougest is one yr, oldest is turning..*gasp* 8 next week!
