Our Travel Video from a Recent Trip in Bicol, Philippines

Since I wanted now to maximize the features of my cameras, I forced myself to shoot videos while my son and I toured Camarines Sur and Albay in the Bicol Region.

Shooting was a breeze, editing it was not. UGH!

I started editing this video within the week that we got back in Manila. I was excited to see the final output that I spent an entire morning to early evening frantically choosing and editing photos and cutting down videos. When I got home, I was too excited to show it to my Mom (who was also with us in Bicol) and to my son, Mokong, that I tried to play the video from the editing software that I was using. Unfortunately, the video wasn’t playing as smoothly as I wanted it to be. I figured that since all my videos were in HD, my disc might have been full. I checked on several folders and decided to delete a few files that I thought I wouldn’t need.

Again, I thought I wouldn’t need.

When I got back to iMovie, all the mov and avi files I placed at the timeline were all in black.

Uh-oh!
